They had the spring in stock that I needed and beat Overhead Doors, who had to make the spring, and would have been $20 more. Even though its only $20, it shows he's a not a price gouger and he is good businesman, who takes care of his customers. The owner was busy, but he waited around for me to come pick up the spring. Our garage door decided it was done closing and wanted to stay in the open position. Checked all the normal culprits (sensors, etc) and couldn't figure it out. Called Pikes Peak Overhead Door and was so surprised they could squeeze us in that very same day! Within the first 5 minutes, Bob could see one of the tracks was misaligned and he fixed it right on the spot. Our garage door broke on a Sunday morning. Garage spring broke, we were gonna replace it ourselves, called around and Pikes Peak Overhead Door was by FAR the cheapest. Went to the office for the spring and inquired what their earliest service appointment would be. Lo and behold they could service us literally within the hour. Needless to say we didn’t replace the spring ourselves. The technician Mike called ahead while we were still on our way home, showed up within 10 minutes and had the spring installed in no time. I work out of state and my wife called just before the 4th of July to inform me that our wall mount garage door opener had an issue where the support cable came off of the spool causing the door to jam and bind up. She could not get the car out of the garage. The local company who installed the door closed their shop in the Springs. Luckily, my wife got a tip from All Things Garage who had recently installed some cabinets for us. We were told to contact Pikes Peak Overhead Doors. My wife called Pikes Peak and they sent someone out that morning to make some adjustments. This event occurred again on the 4th of July. They answered the phone when I called (yes, on the 4th), but could not get anyone over due to the holiday. But, they had someone (Bob) there the following morning. Bob, made several adjustments and did a great job on the repairs. He was very knowledgeable and personable, answering all my questions. The initial call out charge was appropriate for the work persormed and the timely arrival to our home. They did not even charge for the second visit. A great company. Pikes Peak Door performed a miracle today. Our garage door reached crisis stage Saturday. It was sagging in the middle and wouldn’t close. I bought a house and the doors did not have openers. After the initial inspection it was determined that I would require side mounted openers as my ceiling was too low for regular ones. At no fault of the the company (side openers are more touchy than overhead ones, and harder to see problems at first), one of the doors had massive issues into the future, and I had to have them come out a couple of times to finally get the opener and door to work properly. As all the work was under warranty I didn't have to pay a penny on the other visits - no arguing, no haggling, no reimbursement process, nothing - they just came and fixed the problems. I was having a problem with my opener shorting out intermittently. Robert checked it out for me. He recommended replacing the opener rather than the circuit board due to the age of the opener.
